PLIDA

From January 2025, the Dante Alighieri Society in Liverpool has become one of only two authorised centres in the UK for PLIDA exams, which test the knowledge of language ability and certify competence in Italian as a Foreign Language on six levels (A1, A2, B1, B2, C1, C2), based on the levels of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR).

The PLIDA B1 certification is one of the three certifications of Italian language accepted for citizenship application.

You can find more information on the PLIDA exam here: Plida Dante Global.
